I doubt it is included in the dealer's service as the ZF is "sealed for life" and never needs the fluid changed. According to Jaguar anyway. But don't forget the windshield paste! That is important!

I was looking into it yesterday.
There are two schedules, the "maintenance schedule", and the "Service Schedule".
The service schedule runs in 10,000 Mile increments or one year. It contains important replacement items and inspections.
Then there is the Maintenance Schedule, which follows different increments than the service schedule. It is almost 100% inspections that you can probably do yourself if inclined. The 75K increment if in miles is on the Maintenance Schedule.

Is the transmission filter part of the plastic pan on the XK? I just paid $330 for six quarts of ZF trans fluid and pan+filter for my XJ w/ 8 speed transmission. I know the pan is different, but as I remember it had an internal filter as well. if it does $1200 is probably a good price, if it includes all the fluids, from the dealer.

Where did you get the pan and fluid? I will need to change my XK fluid before long. I believe the six speed XK pan is different than the eight speed XJ transmission pan. The *BEST* price I could find for the pan+filter for my eight speed XJ transmission was ~$225.

Bought the fluid on eBay from anhautoparts - 6 liters of ZF liquid gold for $136.75 shipped. I already had 1 liter on hand.
I can't find where I got the mechatronic sleeve but my notes say it was $16.99.

6 Speed oil change kit Jaguar
Might be worth reaching out to vendors on this site as well.

Yep "The CTSC" is a common vendor used. Overpriced imo. I'm not sure they advertise on this forum though.

I've never heard of counterfeit ZF fluid but hey, first time for everything.
The price listed on CTSC is now $100 lower than when I last bought from him. I'm not sure it's the best price, but it's certainly within reason.
Note that there are only 5 extra screws. You will be lucky to break only 5. The newer screws have larger heads and less prone to breaking. Also, he charges $30 to ship (at least here in Minnesota). Just things to consider, but not deal breakers.
I would recommend you have at least 7 liters of fluid on hand. One of the two I've done needed 6 1/2 - 7. I don't remember which car.
And lastly, if you're not DIY, consider pricing the change at a Hyundai dealer. Their rates might be a tad lower than a Jag dealership, I dunno.
