Default adaptive suspension fault

I have read several post about the dynamic adaptive suspension fault which my car has, but cannot find one which matches my cars issue. the car is a 2010 xkr 5.0l and the error code says it is the rear offside shock which is the problem. i have checked the wiring and replaced the shock with a new jaguar one, but the fault persists.

Ideas please

Simple
first stage let's check the fact of whether your old shock is faulty
. As we know the other 3 shocks are fine plug old shock in to any one of these connectors...if old shock is faulty let's move onto the replacement shock and check with multimeter ...if replacement shock is fine let's start digging deeper ie sensors / modules ...buts lets eliminate the obviously

thanks for the reply. i actually extended the cabling and swapped the two rear connectors over and got the same fault, rear right - silly me i did that after i bought a new shock . i also then compared the resistance readings between the shocks and they are pretty similar under 5 Ohms.

I've got a thread somewhere about shock replacement and the first thing is whilst it is rare its recommended to check your shock first before installing...haha ...at least it's not the front getting that spring compressed is no fun !!!!!
