Added the Speed Pack Spoiler
Hey everyone,
Just thought I would share my experience of changing the spoiler from the standard one to the Speed pack high spoiler.
It was pretty easy and finished in under an hour. In essence you have to do the following:
1) Remove the boot ceiling liner (two pop screws).
2) Trace the lighting cable, simple connector, typical press and pull
3) Remove the spoiler light - this involves pulling the two screw covers out then unscrew the two screws. Pull the light, careful dont drop it ;-)
4) You'll have access to view three Torx screws (outlined below in red), these are basically the main areas to unfasten.
5) Once unscrewed, check the fastening screws (Purple in picture 1) and two outer clips (Yellow in picture 1), mine were not screwed, so it was a case of just pulling the spoiler up and off. This includes the now disconnected light cable through the spoiler, circled in yellow in pic 2.
Thereafter a quick clean/polish and place the new spoiler on. New spoiler pics here too. Not too sure I like it if I am honest, but will see how I get on with it.
Hope it helps someone in the future.

I never liked the XKR-S spoiler when I first seen them. But now they are growing on me. I like what I see on your car. The red/black carbon really look good. Nice work. More details and pictures please. Did you use the same holes? Any changes in antenna and back light wiring? Any more holes needing to be drilled?

I have just installed a mina XKRs spoiler on my liquid silver vert and the Carbon/fiber hood supercharged vents it looks great will put pics on soon.the spoiler install is very simple less than 1 hr no holes to drill it is all fit & play ,and the quatly is excellent ,and Chris at Mina is so good to deal with. I keep any part I take off so I can reinstall if I come to sell as long as you dont compermise the car in any way I say go for what suits you. BL

The none genuine R-S uses the same holes. The original needs a re drill on your boot lid (trunk)
It comes with a aerial and the high level brake light. Need a few hours for fitting. Some of the aerial connectors may be different. Just needs a snip off and a solder of the new end connector on. I had a test with different lower rear panels, before deciding to fit the RS upper and lower. (See first few pics)
I have made a mould of the genuine items and have re made a few.
The are really good in GRP.
They can be dipped to look like carbon, or painted.
The front is next to be fitted in the next week.

A few more pictures. You can see the connection on the non genuine (first Picture) for the light and aerial.
Also the connection on the Mina. The connectors where slightly different so swapped and soldered. Very easy to fit though. The bolts are visible too.
The lower side sections are half tape and held on with plastic bolts.

Unders:
Very nice. Well done. Looks fantastic. Your rear end with the LEDs look's like an XKR-S.
You got the new spoiler and rear diffuser from Mina. How did you carbon fiber them? How many did you buy? The pictures show one in carbon fiber and the other in grey primer. What do you mean by you made some moulds? Do you plan on selling some?

I bought just the rear wing from Mina.
I have a genuine rear sides and a splitter in carbon I bought else ware. I used to work on Lotus cars years ago, so made a mould and now have sides and rear splitters made. A few friends have bought some off me and fitted them in the UK. The original bumper skin is just the same if you want to fit the XKR-s rear end. I can buy the sills from Jag for £260 for both, so they are not worth making. The genuine sides and rear lower from Jaguar is a lot of money. The rear lower can be painted or dipped, its in GRP just slightly more weight than the carbon item but a lot cheaper. Its very very good though.
