A further reduction in weight could come from the front seats 60lbs a piece or simply lose the passenger seat on track day
I've considered replacing with 15 pound race seats, losing the passenger seat only would unbalance the car unless it is properly corner weighted. I've also tried driving with rear seat out and boot trim removed and the road/tire and exhaust noise inside the cabin was overwhelming.
Actually I did not make much mention of the end result. There are numerous spring rates offered to chose from as well as Swift options. I went middle of the road, the Jag spec is irrelevant because these are completely different dampers. I also have compression and rebound adjustments which take the comfort level from super soft to no travel at all. For my purposes though I may go to a higher rate.
There is no comparison in the ride quality these provide. The car is completely planted with no body roll, squat or dive. Keep in mind I've replaced the majority of the bushes with hard polyurethane and the car is still quiet and smooth. Steering response is crisp and sharp as is acceleration and braking force is much quicker at managing weight transfer. There is no harshness or vibration and the car just glides over the road.
Where did you source the polyurethane bushings? I'm very interested
Is there a specific part # to ask/reference when ordering the coil-overs? Im very interested in these
ZX-01 DS series. Their North American facility is located in Orlando FL or you can order them from a dealer. Mine was a one off set but they can make more as they intend to offer them standard.

Is there a dragstrip close by I would love to see how much quicker your 4.2 is now
What tire sizes are you running these days? I'm curious to know if my car would have a batter balance of traction with a more square setup than the 245(f) 275(r) stock sizes it's fitted with currently.
I'm running 295's up front with 10 x 20 and 315 out back with 11.5 x 20
Hey jahummer, now that you've had a while to fully experiment with these shocks, how about a review?
Certainly will do that soon. I recently had it corner balanced, after a year the springs had settled about half and inch. I’ll post updated pics as well.
It's amazing how much of the sound is simply muffled when ever I have my over night bag in the boot
Ive been thinking of a weight reduction in my xk so I'm obviously very interested in alot of the mods you have done .
15lb seats that's a hefty saving which brand are they .
I think they were Sparco but they did not include the base so that adds a couple of pounds. Still have not had time to pull one of the seats and weigh it yet. I need to do that and check CCF in SDD to see what adjustments can me made to the SRS system, if any.
Finally got the car today And I must say now that the coilovers are dialed-in via corner balancing, the transformation is huge. I'm not going to say they are anywhere near being the same car, but I swear it handles like my friends 720S. Camber is still nice and negative by over 1 degree and just a slight bit of toe. Car also has bushes switched to poly. I have to say from a performance perspective, these coilovers are an immense improvement providing a planted, firm, predicable drive experience. I can't say I'd recommend them for daily driving, though there is plenty of adjust-ability for comfort and ride height as desired. Here are some pics. For track, balancing and aero there is a bit of rake from front to back.
