Saw this post on gauges fitted to an XF,

Think they would look quite cool for the xk, any views, has anyone done this type of mod to their xk/xkr it connects through the OBD2 connection and displays car info.

I like the concept but am not sold on the design of the gauge pod. I don't know the right design but I would like to see it integrated more. Just my thoughts.

I recently bought a used (from a forum member) drivers side A pillar to which I plan on moulding in 2 (oil press and water temp) gauges. At this point I plan on sticking to 1 3/4" gauges as opposed to 2". I shall then have the A pillar professionally recovered. A little project during my "free' time. If I do not like the look, I shall remove it and put my stock one back on. As I do my mock up I may add a third pod for voltage….if it does not make the pillar look overly busy.
