Michael,

Since you want to get a nice new pair of floor mats, I recommend the OEM 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio mats since they are an exact match to the color of your carpet, have the Jaguar Leaper logo, and the binding is genuine leather that matches your upholstery. You won't find a nicer floor mat.

There have been many threads about aftermarket floor mats. If you want the Leaper logo, the only way to get it is with a genuine OEM floor mat. Jaguar cracked down on aftermarket suppliers a few years ago and you won't find any aftermarket mats with the Jaguar name or logo.

Here are a few threads to review:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...r-mats-118715/ See my post #7. I bought their aftermarket Jaguar Leaper logo floormats in Charcoal with beige serge binding so I could preserve my original leather bound Ivory mats.

I'd stick with OEM, they are not expensive. LLoyds is a popular aftermarket brand.

I took out my OEM mats, which were kind of dirty, and put in the WeatherTech custom fit mats. They look decent, and both I and my passenger, don't have to be concerned about what might be on our shoes/boots when getting in the car. The wife and I go hiking/walking on weekends, and when we get back to the car we can just get in and go, without carefully inspecting our shoes (if someone stepped in a pile of poo, the shoes come off and go into a plastic bag in the trunk ).

I got the Weathertech mats for the 2010-2015 XK's here ($109) :

I don't have any pictures handy, but I can take some next time I uncover the car if you want. In general, I like them for the fit, and the full coverage they provide. It would be nicer if it had a Jaguar logo instead of the Weathertech one though.

I decided to go with Lloyds floor mats...I bought a pair for my Porsche 924S and they really were the best mats I have ever had in my life. Much better than any OEM mat for sure. I will post pics when they are in.

That was exactly what I wanted for my S-type and bought them from CarID who nicely took them back. While the colors were a perfect match they were miscut, poorly sewn and with such a strong smell the lovely leather smell of my car was lost.

You are absolutely right.

I visited their site and each of the flaws they pointed out in their competitor's product was a flaw my set had. Worse was the strong smell and that wasn't even mentioned.

Thanks.

+1 on the Coco Mats. I had a set for my Mini Cooper and the are top notch. Very heavy and wore like iron. They have other material than just the old fashioned coco fibers. The company is a family operation and you can talk to the owner on the phone. I would trust that all their models are of the highest quality.

I like the charcoal Jaguar logo ones. My factory set did not have the logo.

I ordered the wrong set and ended up with the light gray if anyone needs a set cheap.

I may consider the Lloyds. Those are rather nice for the money.
