Hi Everyone; The air bag light is staying on, I had the codes read;
U0001-88 High speed CAN Communications bus off &
U1A00-88 Private bus circuit Bus off
Any ideas on where to start? Looking at posts and threads online is it possible that it's the RCM or the auxiliary junction box or the OCS control module as they all look to be on the High speed Communications bus? Actually where is the RCM? Would like to check the wiring and grounds excetra. I'm assuming that non of the safety systems are working with this error.

I don't have a solution for you but let's answer one point to get the discussion started. The RCM is on the transmission tunnel between the seats under the trim (see item 9).
It may or may not be relevant but the earlier X100 model OCS module was a known fault (overheating and burning on the board) as was the Hall Effect OCS sensor in the seat belt buckle, both of which triggered a permanent airbag warning. X150 uses a more developed OCS but could exhibit a similar fault.
A few years back, mine had an airbag light on the dash. Everything I read here pointed to a “clockspring”? problem in the steering column. I tried to get that apart one day, but had to give up because you need a special tool from Jaguar to undo the tabs that hold the center cover on the steering wheel, and me trying to do it with a flat blade screwdriver was just gonna break something beyond repair. Shoot.
Some time later, I got an iCarSoft code reader. I read the airbag codes, (which are actually “restraint system” codes) don’t remember what they were, reset them, and the light went off and has not come back on in over a year. Weird? Maybe not…
I remember a time when I was in the passenger seat, my wife was driving, and the seat belt wigged out - wouldn’t let me extend the belt. Had to stop, get out, futz with it, finally it worked, got back in, all ok. But I think that’s when the light came on, not positive. So what I’m saying is, I think a temporary seat belt fault can cause the warning light to come on, and the only way to get it to go off is to reset the error with a code reader.
I just replaced my rear speakers and in so doing I had disconnected the sensor wire connector for the passenger seat belt. If one then engages the ignition, which I did, with this disconnected they will be rewarded with an airbag fault light.
The only way to turn this off is with software/scanner.
I used my Foxwell nt530 to reset the srs system. Light is gone!

Thanks Graham; I was thinking that I might at least try to disconnect and reconnect the RCM to see if it was a bad connection. I had actually taken it to a Jag dealer who read the codes, and said it could be the RCM, but they didn't seem interested in fixing it, I would have thought it would have been a license to print money for them!
