All Brit and Euro Car Day - Dallas
Learned about this year's event at the last minute but was glad to make it. Really nice showing of cars this year, and the Jags got the best section along the lake. I recognized forum member Shemp's white XK there and also saw my first XKR-S. Another standout car was a dark grey AC 378 GT Zagato. Never heard of much less seen one before, but it was stunning. My pics don't do it justice unfortunately.

Nice pics! I didn't take any this year. Forgot the camera, got lazy with the phone, etc. haha. I wish I would have bumped into you. I didn't see your car though. Your XKR would have fit perfectly in that lineup.
My wife drove the XK and I drove the MG. When we were leaving, the Zagato was in front of me for a decent bit. With the top down in the MG, the Zagato exhaust was right in my face. Sounded NASTY! (the good kind of nasty )

Also, only 3 Astons showed up this year. According to a friend who has a DB9, he said the Aston club had something out of town this weekend so the showing was light. Last year there were about 15-20 AMs.

Looks like it was a great show, beautiful cars, beautiful location, spectacular skies. It seems like a combination of the two shows we have out here, The Queen's English CAR Show and the Best of France and Italy Car Show, both of which are great. Had my XKR at one and my Pantera at the other (by the way, nice pics of the two Panteras speaking of loud, nasty exhausts.)

Yea, didn't see you around when I went by your car, but I did see you leaving in the MG with your wife following behind in the XK. If I'd learned about the show earlier, I would've definitely signed up to park inside with the group. The Jags got much better placement than last year and I'd love to have gotten a pic of my car with all the other XKs.

I didn't have time to spend all day so I breezed through in about an hour and a half. But speaking of cars you never see (at least not in the U.S.), did anyone happen to spot this Russian GAZ 21 Volga? It wasn't in the show, rather was parked outside the show field in the spectator parking.

Also, I found out last night that my car placed third out of 22 Jags (everyone who registers a car gets a score card where you write in your favorite for each class). Very surprised to say the least!
