Default Alpha Jag Tune. You need it !!!

I was looking for a tune for my 06 XJR. I did a lot of research. Heard a lot of negative things about off the shelf tunes from Paramount, Eurotoys, Viezu etc. Alex Jag who is on the forum from Alpha Jag Tuning contacted me after I posted questions about mods for my car. Alex delivered. The price was right. The tune was right! Put it this way, I don’t have a dyno slip and I don’t have track times. However, I did run a newer 5.0 Mustang that was NOT stock by any means from 50 to 140 mph (4th gear redline) and he was only about a car length in front. That’s good enough for me knowing those cars are lighter and have more power. All smiles even after the loss. Alex knows his stuff with tuning. The throttle response along with low end torque and high RPM power gains are substantial. Alex is a really cool guy. He’s sends you the equipment, talks you through the process on the phone. 15 mins later your out melting tires. His tune is by far the most effective mod you could do to your car. 100% recommend you do it.

i have gotten in contact with this guy over on youtube when i was watching an XKR drag race that he said was tuned from alpha tuning and I have a question about it since im seriously thinking about getting it if it's worth it.My question is do your jaguar burn an astronomical amount of more gas from having this tune when you're only driving through the city or traveling on the highway?it's only worth it to me if my car stays at the same mpg rating or even better if it improves from having this tune lol but i'm serious

I also have an Alpha Jag tune in my 07 XKR. Better gas mileage? Well... your right foot would have to be allot more mature than mine.
All I can say is I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Ain't gonna happen.

You can't expect an answer when you don't tell us anything about your car. You don't have a signature block and there's nothing in your Public Profile.

Tuning for more power requires more energy from the fuel - higher octane, forced induction, nitrous oxide - and the more you put your foot into it the more fuel you use.

Maybe you should learn more about IC engines and look before you leap. Try Google first.

And add a Signature. It's there for a reason.

STICKY - MUST READ!

I blocked that guy like a year ago so I don't see his lunacy anymore.

This is going well...

Since you posted the exact same thing in the XJ section too, i'll leave that one open.
