Default Annoying Squeal When Accelerating off A Stop XKR

This sound has been driving me crazy. 07 XKR. It is a high pitched, pulsating (on-off) , metal-on-metal sounding squeal that happens when accelerating from a stop, to around 10mph. It sound exactly like the sound of brake squeal/pad vibration when stopping, except for me, it's not when stopping. It is when after accelerating from a stop up to around 10mph.

I changed my brakes and rotors a year ago, to ceramic pads. I went back in and lubed every metal on metal part of the brake pads, and slide pins. It's still there.

Any ideas on where to look?

Get someone to stand by the car as you pull away,

After a few attempts they should be able to give you a better idea of where it's coming from.

something on your brakes is bent.Mine had this problem but it's an easy fix.You just need to examine your brakes and check for something bent on them and bend it back in place

Check the shield plate that goes behind rotor. It's a dust plate that that stops the brake dust. It's a metal dust plate that's the same size as the brake rotor inside the brake rotor. You'll have to take the wheel off to see it.Every car has 1.It's the "brake dust shield plate"(that's what it's called) that's kind of bent that's making the squealing noise that makes the noise at slow speeds or sometimes when you hit the brakes going fast.It will look like this and will be sort of bent causing metal to metal contact with your brake rotor. When you see it,just unbend it and it's fixed. No need to replace it cause its only job is to prevent brake dust from going everywhere. It's not your brake pads or nothing that's making the noise,it's just this thing. You can replace brake calipers and everything and it will still make the noise all because of this.
