Default manners?

It has nothing to do with manners or charm school. Men make the rules in this world. Men feel it is ok to be boorish. Men think it is ok to make sexist snotty comments to women. Men think it is ok to do whatever they want.

However when a young man or elderly man runs into a woman that tells them where to get off, all of a sudden then that woman is a bit**. Well I solved that problem. Whenever a guy no matter what age gets remotely stupid I just tell them to **** ***.

That way guys like the geriatric guy who made the granpa comment about me and my xkr understand that I m not offended by their male stupidity and sexist caveman attitude.

I hope my explanation helps you understand where your place is in a woman's world. and yes almost all professional young women feel the same way, but the truly informed ones are those that will tell you exactly where to go.

I didnt learn that in charm school. I learned it in a private prep school

Just about any sized adult will fit in both the drivers and passengers seat.

A normal sized adult person will not fit in the back seat of an XK/XKR/XKR-S unless they sit with the legs extended across the back seat.

Perhaps this 1 babe did, but only because of her petite size.

how rite you r Rich!! The friend in the back was 5'4" but she had to take her stilletos off to fit sideways. I am 5'10 and 130 lbs and would never attempt to sit in back, shoes or no shoes

I am only 5'7", but if I move the front seat to where my knees are touching the dash (pax seat), I can fit in the back seat. The thing is the seat back is flexible so your knees can dig in without too much pain! It's really not as bad as people make it out to be...

And the monthly depreciation for the first two years before I got it was almost double that! But it's great for XK Series enthusiats that the car was built for many years, and in different configurations as it now appeals to a very broad range of budgets. While your choice was a more financially frugal purchase than mine that suits your needs well, I wanted a newer and higher performance model with a warranty that was nicely suited to mine for the odd day blasting around the road course. I was not planning to keep it long-term and wanted to be able to flip it more easily while still under warranty. The plan worked out extremely well for a 2 year old car of its value, and I hope yours will as well.

Here in the USA, a monthly cost of owning a car amounts to about $300 per month or lower.

If your inital of cost $ 84,500 included the 13% sales tax, then your cost would be lower to about $73,500. If the $84,500 did not include your sales tax the cost ws substanially higher at your sales tax rate. There are allot of ways to calculate the math on a car purchase and "spin" the numbers.

All car buyers need to keep in mind, if a dealer gives you a higher than average trade-in price, they will make up the difference in the new ride.

Car dealers are not in business to lose money. Paying sales tax, registration, license and insurance is all part of owning the car.
I bought a $40,000 new Volkswagen SUV, drove it 140,000 miles over 8 years and got $6000 on the trade in. That comes to $354/month, not counting the taxes and exorbitant maintenance costs.

I bought a $16,000 used Hyundai coupe, drove it 60,000 miles over 4 years and sold it private party for $7000. That comes to $187/month, which, incidentally, was the same as the engine's horsepower rating.

My wife's parents gave us a Nissan Sentra with 100,000 miles on it. We drove it for another 100,000 and donated it to charity. So really that doesn't add much to the discussion, but I thought it was a nice side note.

The point is, none of these cars compares to driving a Jaguar.
