You wont believe that Leatherique (which is the worst thing you can use on modern leathers) actually recommends massaging it in with bare hands.
This will further blow your mind that the got the idea from an art known as 'brain tanning' animal brain (high fat content) is massaged into the leather for several days. lol- look it up.

I actually watched a video that described that. Maybe my brain will be of use that way shortly! Who knows? lol

A lot of my old Ferrari 308 guys swear by that stuff. When they do a recondition on their old seats the strip them and hand rub the conditioner and wrap the seats in plastic and let them sit for a day or two. Never tried it as I had my seats redyed .

Yes its perfect for old Connolly hides.
I used the daylights out of it too, till some folks from Connolly told me how stupid I was being using it on modern leather.
Nothing is supposed to penetrate the clearcoat in modern leathers, if it can, it weakens it ruining it over time.

Hope that helps,

Hi Dave - I have the same issue - can you remember which spray dye you used and where you got it from - or can it just be a generic charcoal?

Cheers

I just ordered the oyster version for $46, so looking to see where I can get charcoal dye from - is it a generic dye, or something specific from Jaguar? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Yes, I am familiar with that shop. I did bring the car there for an opinion. They wouldn't touch it. I ended up finding a shop in Naples that did the work. They had the windshield removed, stretched, glued, stapled and replace the windshield. All great.

Thanks.

Ken
