Wondering about the 30 mpg vs the 24 or vs the 2010 XK (not R). What are the rpms@ 60 mph in the Corvette vs the Jag. Seems to me, the Jag could use an extra gear on the highway. What brings this up is my 2005 LeSabre (don't ask) has a v6 that turns at ~1500 rpm at 60, not the Jag (~ 2K). Why wouldn't one reduce the rpm at constant highway driving when the engine has plenty of oomph.

My buddy just picked up his 2015 C7 Vert at the museum in Kentucky a couple of weeks ago. Fun car - they certainly made leaps and bounds worth of improvements over the previous models. He had a 2010 Grand Sport Coupe previously but it had the interior from an Imapla. So disappointing imho.
This one is way nicer. I wouldn't spend that kind of scratch on one (his was just under $75K) but you really do get a lot of car for the money.

Skipped the Video and Data recorder for tracking the car.
Skipped the Magnetic ride
Skipped the two tone leather dash and door panels.
Skipped the Competition seating.
Skipped the Black 5 spoke wheels in lieu of 19" & 20" aluminum wheels.
Skipped the black, gray & red calipers in lieu of yellow calipers.
