Although not in my new to me xk. Two weeks ago i came back from a 10 day 3200 mile trip across europe via Monaco, italy and the stelvio pass.
I had only had the xk two days before i left so there was many times i wished i was in it as i drove the 3k miles, more so because of the ice cold aircon
Planning on driving my xk to france next month, only 400 miles but at least its legs will be stretched

Not all that long of a trip but later this week i will be going from NC to Washington, DC and back. Really looking forward to the drive.

While not my reason for going, I will be bringing back a few cases of wine, 7 or so. REALLY like the bigger coupe trunk. The excess will be stored in the leather lined luggage area behind the front seats.

Just don't store the excess internally before you hit the road.

No Problem !!I think seven cases will put me over the Virginia limit for transporting so, if I am stopped, I could be charged with Bootlegging. That means for one of the few times in my life I will be driving back to NC like I have some good sense (G).

"Good sense" is such a buzz kill. However I'm sure you know Virginia cops are like sharks on the interstates.
