Does anyone out there have experience with how to make the Autel MaxiDAS808 diagnostic tool communicate with your car? I recently purchase this unit and for the life of me cannot figure out how to make it communicate with my car? I realize this scan tool might be a bit excessive, but I purchased it to be able to program key fobs for my other work vehicles. This unit connects and communicates flawlessly with all of the other vehicles (2011 GM Yukon, 2005 Cadillac CTS, 2005 Chevy Venture, 2010 Dodge Caravan's etc). So, I know the cable is fine. Additionally, all of the updates and latest firmware have been loaded.
So far I have tried to connect when the vehicle is off, vehicle ignition is on as well as when the engine is running. But no luck. I am wondering if the car has to be in another "mode"; maybe similar to when the "Service Required" light gets reset?? I was just curious if anyone had experience with this?

***UPDATE***
Well, this mystery is solved.
I bought a VeePeak OBDII scanner and combined it with Torque Pro yesterday. When I hooked up the VeePeak it also could not communicate with the car. I thought WTH?? So, after scratching my head I decided to look for issues with the ODBII connector. All looked good there; wires connectors etc. I discovered that the F17 fuse (drivers side foot area fuse panel) which controlled the ODBII had blown. I installed a new fuse and now have connectivity with the vehicle and the Autel MaxiDAS808 and VeePeak. Can't believe it was that simple. Just goes to show that simple things can be missed.
I'd give the Autel MaxDAS808 two thumbs up! That little tool is amazing!! It pulls everything under the Sun on that car!
