Anyone here replaced their belt on an XK?
I'm totally missing something here but is it me or is there a serious lack of room to do the job?
Even with the bonnet in the service position and air intake ducts off there is just too much crap still in the way like the coolant hoses and then coming in from an angle on the side ?

The manual, which is cheap to download off the web, says to disconnect the battery.....raise the vehicle...........remove the engine cover.....remove the air deflector under the car......remove the air intake duct......release the accessory drive belt by rotationg the drive belt tensioner anti-clockwise using a 3/8" drive wrench.
I bought the serpentine belt and a fuel pump months ago but busted my knee, so I had both done at AutoBahn last Thursday. All I know is what is written in the manual. I was expecting to do a lot of the work from below after loosening the tensioner and belt from the topside.
I did this at approx 85K which is a bit early. The manual say, I believe, 150K to change it. I keep the spare in the trunk just in case of an onroad problem occurs. I know I can change it if I can get it on a lift or on car ramps.
