Don't buy from a JAG dealer - I doubt they would source them anyway.

That price looks good - similar to what I paid out of the states plus shipping - you need to check shipping rates as dey is heavy and import duties.

That vendor's ad says :
"Quality replacement Front Brake Disc and Brake Pad kit."
Replacement does not mean OEM. Don't be fooled because they use the OEM Part Number. It may look the same, but at that price it's probably not the same alloy that's used by Alcon.

But it's a fraction of the genuine item, and might be worth it. Your car, your money, your choice.

Alcon no longer makes disc for the XKR - Eurospare do - we gotta make do with whats available - thankfully I got Alcons out of the USA four years ago.

Only right side here:

Disc Rotor

Totally agree. Cheaping out isnt usually the best route to go. This being said my car has 85km and the rears were done at 80km on the car fax. Fronts are not shown on there. I cant imagine they are original rotors although I have no idea. thoughts on how long front discs should last ?

I still have meat on mine in the rear at 90,000 kilometers. Front just slight wear - I'm pretty sure they are originals as I've had the car since 2016.

Buy the discs - worst case scenario they wear out faster than the Alcon manufactured discs. Like I said we are stuck with what's out there.

Original Alcon pads are a soft compound that leaves huge amounts of black brake dust. I'm not sure if they're semi-metallic or organic or ???, but they're not ceramic. That soft compound maximizes rotor life. Replacement Alcon-style rotors and a variety of pads are available here:

I treat the pads as a disposable, wearable commodity as opposed to the discs.
Washing the wheels is quick enough and I have no need for “wheel cleaner”. Warm water, a sponge and dish detergent works just fine.

Delphi pads and discs are of good quality and they do this fit at reasonable prices. Worth considering.
