Averted Disaster with Coolant Hoses?
Hi All
Can anyone help with part numbers of the small coolant lines in the pictures below? Or is there an aftermarket alternative?
I cannot find this anywhere based on the code on it ?? - Rimmer Bros, British Car Parts etc don't seem to have anything - does anyone know what part number it is or what I should be ordering?
It appears I may have averted disaster today as I was inspecting the oil filter housing on my 2013 XKR as I heard a clicking noise and little gasp of air which is one of the small plastic "sprinkler system" looking pipes that run through a junction at the front of the engine back to the expansion tank (Code printed on each section is the same - 9w83-8c362-ae) and I notice there is another small length of it near the firewall at the back of the engine. It would be somewhere around 10mm diameter.
Obviously I need to replace these before the car can be driven at all, but I am super grateful it didn't happen while driving and squirt coolant everywhere ...or worse!

Good for you for inspecting your car. I replaced all of my hoses and plastic cooling piping when I had my super charger isolator replaced under warranty. I only have 18K miles on it, but the car is 7 years old (2014). I've also replaced all of my fuilds, gear box, ediff, SC, coolant, and brake fluid.

All fluids except brake fluid and hydraulic oil for convertible top already changed. Brake fluid was checked, of course.
Spark plugs replaced on my demand, battery, too ( I prefer my batteries to be less than 6 years … better change every 5 years ).
Filters changed.
As the rear brake will have to be replaced sometime, and the front shock absorbers are only at 50%, I intend to do that at one time, and then I want the coolant and brake hoses to be replaced, too.
Although Chief technician of Jaguar Frey, Salzburg, inspecting my car closely said I should leave it all alone, just routine serviced.

My Mercedes CLS is from 2015, and I for sure won´t make anything more than is written in the service regulations! ( except transmission oil flush and change - that I had done prematurely - just for insurance )
Although … warning messages are not seldom … but the car is running fine! ( and quick ;-) )
It´s just too much electronics and gadgets.

I will replace my timing chain, sprockets, and tensioners at 60K kms or before, but only after 40K kms if I need to remove the front bumper and other parts for access. The tensioners do wear out on the 5l engines and are poorly designed (I have the thicker upgraded timing chain on my 2014). However, I do engine oil/filter changes around every 2K kms and do an engine flush with lubegard every other oil change to keep sludge from building up. Engine sludge blocking the small holes feeding the tensioners is a problem to avoid. I also run a container of CRC one-tank through the gas tank before every engine flush to keep the injectors clean. Also, before laying my car up for the winter I do a double oil change to purge the engine oil of contaminates; fifteen percent of old oil remains in the engine every oil change.

Does anyone know the part number or what I should be ordering for the small 7-8mm coolant line that goes to the side of the expansion tank on the 5L? It has a small three way connection on the other end with two more sections of the same small diameter tubing at the front centre of the engine.

Haha so many replies and none of them answered your question... smh.
Until you can find the right part, you can go to your local autoparts store and get some rubber hoses cut to length. Then just get some metal clamps to keep the in place.
SNG Barratt also has diagrams where you can try to find the right part number.

I think you are talking about C2P13304. One of the connectors on it broke on my '10 XKR so I had to replace the whole thing.
