C2D47174 is not available for North American X150 models because it is part of the Pedestrian Protection System, which is standard equipment in Europe but is not available here. See Post #48: Pedestrian Protection System Warning ⚠️.

I think C2P0001 is visible just below the coolant tank and bolted to the firewall. Easy to work on.

I never considered the clunk sound of the locks should also have a 'chirp'
Mine has never chipped and the battery has always been a monitored concern for myself. (Watching it slowly drop.)

Yes my new one chirps but the old one never did

Furthermore, your particular car does not call for an AGM battery. No, I am not saying that would be the cause of the failure.
But you could save some money and put the specified battery in the car. And get the same life out of it.
You aren't saying an AGM battery could cause any issues, right?; ...just that they aren't necessary and they cost more, right???

Very often the problem with the XK are dead, dying, or low batteries. If you have a wet cell battery they will not take this abuse and will have to be replaced. But an AGM can take much more abuse and fully recover from it. So where is the savings in wet cell? If I recall AGM can drop to 10% and wet cell to 70% without damage.

This is correct. I have a flooded battery in the XK8 but decided to go for an AGM in the XK as the XK8 is always on a smart charger when not in use whereas the XK is not, although neither car is a daily driver. It seemed that the extra peace of mind was worth the extra expense. However, I wouldn't say that the extra expense would be that worthwhile if the car was used regularly.
