Last ran it six weeks ago so I had to pour a little gas down the throat of the carb, cranked it and started right up! Bob

I would guess though that when double locking the car with anything inside there which moves immediately triggers the alarm.
Once, I left my cellphone in there in the mid console. The next message arriving on it immediately whooped the sirene 😅 Took me 3 incidents before I realized that I had left my cell in there 🙈
Talking about battery drain, actually my alarm was broken when I purchased my car and it was the root cause of empty battery after few days of parking.
I was not aware of this until the garage told me and replaced it. I never had heard the confirmation beep on double lock before the repair and wasn’t aware it was supposed to be there 🥴
So,,, Date on the old battery had its age at 1year 10 months. Load tested marginal after a charge. Advance Auto sells me a battery, it's too big by an inch. Return it. Go to Auto Zone with correct dimensions, buy one , all good. I've done three iterations of in and out so I'm better and faster by the end!
I thought my problem was similar enough to not warrant another thread. I recently had my battery die after the car sat for about two weeks. Obviously, I couldn't use the remote to unlock the doors or trunk so I used my manual key to unlock the driver's door and the trunk. I took the battery out and charged it to full. When I reinstalled it, the car started up without any problems. I let the car idle and took it for a short drive. When I got back to the driveway, I exited the car and double locked it with the remote. Mirrors folded, doors locked as normal. When I went to get back in the car, I used the remote, mirrors unfolded but driver's side door wasn't unlocked, passenger side did unlock. It's continued to do this, no amount of using the remote unlock button will unlock the driver's door. I had no previous issues with the door prior to battery going dead.
Double-locking is not available on North American market X150 models. See Post 16, above. The beep you heard was an error message.
Does your driver's door lock and unlock when you operate it manually while seated in the driver's seat? To lock the door manually, push the end of the door handle away from you, towards the outside of the car. If you don't hear it lock, there's a problem with that lock.
That’s not accurate. My car has sat for 6 months and started on request. It is not connected to a maintainer or charger.
I'm talking about the battery reached the end of its life span where u might as well go give it to advance auto.A dead Cell can happen to the battery when it starts reaching the end of its life
Thanks for the reply Stuart. Yes, the door and lock operate manually with no issues from the inside. It's only opening of the driver side door from the outside after I've locked it from the remote that is a problem. I have to think its related to me needing to unlock the door manually from the outside that has it out of sync. I thought there might be a reset that would get everything communicating properly again. Maybe, I'll unlock both doors and disconnect the battery again and then install the battery and start fresh. Thanks again.

looks like whatever was happening with my lock has cleared itself. Thanks for the input though.
Removing the battery and letting the car sit long enough without any electric power resulted in a Hard Reset, which drained various modules of their volatile memory and reset them to their factory defaults. This might be why your door locks now work properly.
Not all modules will be affected. You may need to reset your windows, clock, parking brake, seat memories, and radio presets. You may also notice a difference in how your car drives, since the transmission may need to relearn your driving style.
