While yet again revisiting lowering my XKR (now that I have new wheels, somehow the gap has increased to 2-inches, not a good look) I came across these for only $995, anyone familiar with them?

I have decided to get these so I will let you know how it goes. I saw this post before, but my mind wasn't made up so I didn't say anything. What I do know though is that this brand serves the NSX community very well. I have Tein coilovers on my NSX, but I have friends with this brand and they are great. I'm willing to gamble with them on the XK due to this experience with them. AS far as the other more expensive stuff for some reason some of the Jaguar stuff is just ridiculously priced for some reason it seems lol. Unnecessarily. My car has 21 inch wheels on it and it sits ok, but I need lower for sure. I will check back once everything is installed and dialed in.

Regarding your car ending up higher than before I will ask a very basic question that I have not seen anyone asking here:
Have you driven the car since you installed the new wheels? Every time you raise a car when it comes back down, the suspension will not be settled completely. Only a few miles of driving will settle it into its normal position. Otherwise absolutely no reason for the car to sit higher than before.

I am very well aware of that and would not have mentioned it if I had not done that. I actually drove the car about 30 miles after the wheels were changed. I have taken the wheels off before. Typically the car sits about 4-5 inches higher before it settles. How level the surface is also affects wheel gap. FWIW the car drives very differently, don't know if it is because the wheels are wider & a lot lighter in weight.
I guess while we are talking about it, what are others seeing as far as gap measurements?

Measuring from the pavement to the highest point in the wheel arches (to metal fender edge on the back):
Fronts = 27 3/4"
Rears = 27/ 7/8"

Rear Right & Left: 28.25
Front Right: 27.75
Front Left: 28
Close to yours, but not the same.

Now that we have started this, it would be interesting to sample other members' cars. This may confirm what I was told by one of the UK spring manufacturers last year, when I was searching for 20mm springs, that lowering springs should not be guaranteed with a specific height reduction as no 2 XKRs are the same both from the factory and over time.

So your's is a full half inch lower than mine in the rear while the fronts are about the same.
