Default Bespoken luggage

My wife now fully agrees with the Jag, although at first we really had some arguments. Only problem was, when I opened the trunk lid, she started to cry.

Well, to make the most of the available space, I ordered bespoken luggage from GB. OUTSTANDING guys, really nice! And outstanding attention to detail, just look at the pictures. I wanted blue bags for the trunk, but feared, blue might rub off to my Caramel interior. So beige for the bags for the rear seats, nicely accentuated by Jag Growlers in Blue and Caramel! As a bonus it´s instantly clear, where every bags belongs.

The set doesn't include a glovebox bag for your luggage?

I took pics, but without fully loaded, they look not impressive.

I am not sure, what I am allowed to post.

€ 725 for the set in vinyl, excluding all taxes and duties, exactly double that for real leather.

I decided against leather, because its luggage. Its going to get handled roughly.

I'm confused, especially as a fellow convertible owner. Are these all meant to fit in the trunk (boot)? Or or the blue ones in the trunk, beige ones in the back seat? Something like that?

He picked blue for the trunk, and beige for the back seat.

Hermann,

Recommendations are OK. There's no problem posting a link to a manufacturer or supplier provided you have no connection with the business other than as a customer.

Most members add a disclaimer to that effect in such a post to make it absolutely clear and save moderator's having to check with them.

It´s a question of price vs usage.

It´s a used car. It´s an elder car, 14 years. If there is an accident, a machine break down, a crash, will I get a similar good XK convertible? In the same colour combo? Also, perhaps 2 journeys with the jag / a.

If I for whatever cause I "lose" the car, and get another model as replacement, what do I do with extremely expensive bespoken luggage?

And leather >may< be more durable ... but too dry and it shrinks, too wet, and you get mould ... for outdoor uses I have replaced leather totally with nylon / Cordura.

But don´t get me wrong: I LOVE leather!

I am not in any way affiliated with Bag-world, only as a happy customer.

They make bespoke luggage for a lot of nice cars:

They are extremely nice and easy to deal with.
