Best battery jump starter

I got this one, came with the USB charging cable required. It's very well made and came in very nice packaging and a soft bag for the pack and one for the accessories, no hard case.

I don’t know if the older basic 1amp Apple chargers have enough current but I use the new 20 watt/4 amp Apple charger with no issue.
EDIT: They are recommending a 65watt charger to charge it in 1 hour. With my high power Apple
charger it took over a day to charge. A basic iPhone 1watt charger will take 3 days to charge.

Halo Bolt
My friend is lending me a Halo Bolt which is rated at 500 Amps. Her granddaughter used it last week on her 8 Cylinder 10 year old Land Rover and claimed the Land Rover whipped right over after the first try. My concern of course is the jumper working for V8s. It’s advertised on Amazon for $81.00 with the wall adapter charger and of course the appropriate USB cables. This one has the tire inflator which I don’t need but looks really well made. I’ll try it on my Jag which definitely has a dead battery now and see how it goes. If the results are positive I’ll pick one up on Amazon. Anyone else hear of the Halo Bolt?

Sorry. Don’t have the link handy. Just purchased one yesterday on Amazon. $81.00+tax with free delivery. Mine doesn’t have the air inflator which I didn’t want anyway. Seller was Amazon through Amazon. Site mentioned limited time sale but was available yesterday. Mine is grey and if I wanted black it was $99.00! Crazy! Search “Halo Bolt 58830”. Air compressor is more money if you want it. Good luck.

For any out there that are electronic geeks... I have a question for you.. With regards to 2 Halo Battery Jumpers and their Amp ratings.....One is a Halo Air Bolt (has a tire compressor) I purchased a Halo ACDC BOLT ( no compressor but both have 3X Li-Polymer 5300mAh battery cells. Both are described as containing a 58830 mWh battery. Under specifications: The Halo Air Bolt with battery pack energy of 58830 mWH states the Jump Start: at 12V/500 Amps. I have been looking for a Jump starter with 500 amps. The second... Halo ACDC Bolt 58830 ( Which I purchased) does NOT specify amperage under specifications. However.. at the label on the back of the jumper.. It reads: 500A @ 4S max instantaneous maxium current. Can anyone explain 4S max instantaneous maxium current compared to Jump start of 12V/500 amps? Sorry, but I'm beyond a geek on this matter... and any insight would be helpful. I know our V8s need at least 50 amps to start on a dead battery . Thanks all or anyone who can decipher this. I for one don't have a clue. Thanks all.

It's not a battery but I use this:
It's a "Super Capacitor". It will charge up using an almost dead battery and then be able to start the car. I've used it many times on cars and bikes. Best thing is you don't have to worry about keeping it charged up.
Won't run a compressor, etc though....

I have the Noco one as well. It's a good unit and been very pleased with it. Used several times to help others out, and once on my Jaguar - worked effortlessly.
I went with a larger one - mostly because if I had to make several attempts to crank the engine over the NOCO wouldn't be spent after.
I just see a lots of good options here at Everstart Jump Starter.

Only some people from some countries would say 'go large or go home' 😀
I've had an Imazing IM29 for a couple of years and have started multiple cars with it. Mainly other peoples (neighbours and people stranded in car parks). In one case started 3 cars on one charge...and got a telephone number too!
Only used on the Jag once and immediately replaced the battery (foc as still under warranty). But useful and portable enough to travel with and take into a hotel room for charging my phone/tablet/laptop on if I ever forget their mains chargers (always have a usb c lead in the car)
