I looked at Salsa Red, Radiant Red, White, Metallic Green and lots of silver, grey and a variety of shades. Black coupe stole my heart Ultimate Black XK MY14 at the 2018 JDCLI Concourse d'Elegance at Vanderbuilt Mansion on L.I. NY. Ultimate Black Jag XK vs brother's MY07, AM Vantage in dark metallic blue.
and my wallet. Such a classy look, with sensual lines in daytime or nighttime, bright sun or shade. It only demands you keep her clean.
But colour taste is individual...to my eye the only colours that are not the best on this beautiful body are white and silver - and for the same reason: they do not show the curves to advantage.
Absolutely agree BRG is the quintessential Jaguar colour hands down!!!

Looks Great ! Are you on LI also ? I was going to go to Vanderbult last time with the local Jag Club, but had something come up last minute... Hope to see you around
I nearly bought a light blue one with a two-toned blue and ivory interior. I really liked the color combo, but I was concerned it was more of a lady's color combination. At any rate, it sold before I could get my finances in order to buy it.

Yes I am on LI, live in Queens. Are you a member of the local Jag club, JDCLI? If not you should join, membership meeting is this Thursday May 16, 2019, 7pm at the Hauppauge Diner. Ask for Mike Carroll, Club president. I will be there, so see you then.

HaHa I'm the OP of this thread, and live right behind the Vanderbilt on the bay. Of course I go (walk) to every British car show there, and we may have met.
What is your name? I'll try to come to the meeting and introduce myself.
My name is Yigal, and I'm still looking for a nice 2010+ XKR vert.

Dave, see you on Thursday. Question, why are you looking for a XKR MY10 vs newer or older?

This is one of my favorite pictures I've seen of an X150. Really nice picture, and beautiful color.

Thanks! This beautiful car (2007 fully-optioned - now displaced from my garage in favour of my F-Type) is still in the family - and it has been 100% trouble-free...just one very minor item to mention: it recently announced the need for battery replacement by the illumination of the tire monitoring system light - no other symptom. Battery replaced, no warning light. Not only are these cars stunningly beautiful, they are beautifully reliable. For those interested, the finish is protected by Victoria Wax (no affiliation) - there is none better; it produces a mirror-finish. Another view:

Your pictures are stunning (have seen them several times, but still love them), and could have been used in a sales brochure.
Emerald Fire exterior with cream/tan interior is the absolute best combo. Next is Radiance Red with same cream/tan interior. I think both colors look better on coupe than on convertible.
