Does the preferred color change on vert. vs/ coupe on these?
I know it can get stupid chasing some colors vs. others on these cars.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. My preference is the Phoenix red and Ivory leather for pre 2000 models.....as I have on my S1 R Coupe, so I am biased 🤣🥰👍
But in respect of a naturally aspirated pre 2000 Cabrio which I would love to get one day, then I would try for the ice blue or very light green sea mist colour. Both look absolutely lovely so stylish... mm....
I would not want a S/C cabrio, would prefer the NA XK8... to have the S/C Coupe and NA cabrio just seems right for me IMVHO.
🥰👍

+1 for frost blue mica. It’s not only elegant, but harkens back to my first sports car-1976 280Z!

I was next to a convertible XK (I believe) yesterday in Ocean City, MD. It was a gorgeous sunny day. The car appeared to be purple! Is that the Crimson Poly color..? This car had tan interior, just beautiful! Normally I don't care for purple, but this car was gorgeous. Does anyone know what years these cars were manufactured in the purple color? Thanks!

Is the color Caviar purple? It really was nice. I don't know Jaguars well enough to know the exact model of the car. But now I want one!
This car was in great shape, looked new. An older lady, probably in her 70's, was driving it with the top down, with a vacuum cleaner in the front seat. Eccentric, I'd say.

To me the best color possible is one of the few British Racing green iteration Jaguar produced for the last 20 years.
The most beautiful being the extremly rare Emerald Fire Green.
I saw one, one day, it is just unforgetable ...saddly never found one to buy.
Second most beautiful is Botanical Green and luckily that's the color of mine.

A british car should always be considered British racing green + Tan,Fresh butter or Magnolia interior.

Other wise, Caviar brown is really a stunning color too .Greys and Blacks are good for germans...

Lucky you! My dream would be a 4.2 XKR either in botanical green (to be on the more understated side) or in emerald fire (to be on the fancier side). Hard to choose, as both are great looking.

But speaking of looking, I will repeat myself:
