I've got the Hankook Ventus V12 Evos on my XKR, too, and since I drive it only on nice days the tires do flat spot, as expected. Like Cee Jay said, they smooth out quickly. I have no complaints with the Evos and they were much less expensive than the comparable Michelins, but I can't attest to their performance in the wet.
Are the Michelins worth the additional cost? Not to me, but others will disagree.
I can also confirm that a common issue with Hankook is flat spots. I had it regularly on my G35, even when parked for a short time. In addition I found them to be exceptionally noisy. I was never crazy about directional tires.
Something is weird then, as none of my Hankooks ever made any noticeable sound. Maybe you had an old style that's been discontinued or something?
I really think I'd hear something since Convertible and all that. Even with the top up I don't hear dammit from the tires.

I can vouch for that, the A/S3+ is the MPS4s with skiving for ice and snow handling. Exact same dual compound and thread.

The Tyers was very good for this Jag.
On dry Roads the grip
was very good and in Rain too.
Price was good for the Dimension.
I also bought a 2010 XKR (in Oct 2019) and had the exact same problem. I think the original Run Flat tires were still on it. They had OK tread @ 36,700 miles, but were pretty hard and did not feel safe on the highway or under any performance driving.
So far, they have been really awesome! They seem flexible, but grippy. Soft enough for great grip but not enough to quickly wear the tread.
I was going to go with the Pirelli P ZERO, but these listed a better tread life, so with negligible reviews between the Pirelli and these, I went with these. I think these were also a little less costly.
The boys at Tate Boys sure were stoked to see this roll in for a tire exchange, lol. They are used to seeing American pickup trucks and little economy cars.
P.S. If you use TIRERACK.COM, be sure to call them when you have different front and rear tire sizes to be sure you get your 4-tire discount.
a tire that have close to no tread at all even performs well on warm sunny days(Hope you don't have to wonder how i know that but I will say I couldn't afford new tires at the time).To give us a REAL review,tell us how they preform in wet conditions or when it's raining outside.Reason i say this cause i had brand new tires that perform very well on hot sunny days, but be slicker than somebody that fell on a mopped floor when it gets wet outside.I'm not gone say which "Brand new" tire I had cause i don't recommend nobody buying those and I don't want give nobody any ideas.
