Mon xk est au bio-ethanol je l'est acheter comme ça une reprogrammation à été faite dessus, mais sur le livre de la voiture il dise qu'il faut pas roule au bio-ethanol pourquoi ?

Xk646, Ethanol-rich gasoline has harmful effects on certain components of the fuel system. Here is an excerpt from a 2016 article in the Globe and Mail that summarizes the issues:



Since your car was set up for bio-ethanol it may be that the components of your fuel system have been replaced by materials that are more resistant to degradation caused by the above issues.

When I had a motorcycle, I avoided gasoline that had more than 10% ethanol. In the US, it is hard to find ethanol-free gasoline, but lately there has been more 15% ethanol gas out there. I keep away from 15% for any vehicle I have.
