The 2015 I was getting had the Black Diamond Pack. I really fell in love with that look. That deal fell through, but I found a nice 2013, but it is all chrome and not the black look I like. I've looked through the forum, and did find where to source everything except the chrome window/door trim. Any leads on where to find that?
It’s available but quite expensive so I opted to have mine professionally painted off the car for about $600. It’s lasted about 6
Years and still looks as new.
I found everything except the door/window trim for $820.00 plus $40 shipping. Originally I was thinking paint, but then thought if I ever sell or trade the car (upgrade) it might be good to have all the original parts.
The chrome trim around the door and window is not black in the black pack. You will not find it black as a part. I have the black black pack on my 2014 XKR. I left it chrome, but thought about wrapping it black.

There was a package called 'Black Diamond Pack' and I love that look and am trying to duplicate it. The Black Diamond Pack also came with the performance seats and aero kit. At the price of the performance seats, I won't be doing those unless I find a wrecked car! The blacked out chrome and aero parts and bigger duck tail... all doable! I may do what one member on here did and wrap the window chrome, if I don't like that then I'll look at having them painted.
If Jaguar could 'add' the Black Diamond Pack to my car I'd even consider saving up to have it 'official', but I doubt they have the parts anymore, and if so I bet it would cost a LOT more than $8K now.
I learned something I never knew. The black door and window trim was only offered on coupes with the black pack and not on convertibles with the black pack. All convertibles with the black pack or variation of it never came with the door and window trim in black.
A friend had his M4 moldings wrapped in black for $100, looked good from distance, dull compared to paint close
up. But a small investment and easily reversible.
I wrapped my silver door trim in black. $20 for the adhesive strip at AutoZone and it looks pretty good. We will see how long it lasts. I'll try to get a pic later...

I watched some videos of professionals doing a trim wrap on and XK and it does look quite good. It depends on the brand, quality, and the high gloss wrap does look a lot better than a satin or matte. Plus I like that it can be removed, just in case I ever decide to sell or trade up I can offer it blacked out or with the original chrome trim.

fwiw the metal is anodized aluminum, not chrome. Just clarifying for clarity's sake. I removed some from an XK and it was a bear to strip.
Might be because the convertible top seals to that trim piece, it rubs it under normal use so a painted piece
might show wear much more quickly than polished version? I know on my car you can see wear on the trim
where the top sits on it.

Dip is interesting, but as someone that's tried it before and knowing others that have, it's not as easy as Fonzi makes it look on the DYC site. Paint probably looks the best, but wraps can look just as good if done right. Dip always has a texture and doesn't like chemicals or coatings. I'd go with a wrap or painting. $2300 for that window trim piece though... ouch! I can get all the other pieces in black for around $850. It's probably stupid of me for thinking this way, but I felt having the chrome would be a good thing if I ever decided to sell or trade the car to upgrade. That way if the buyer wanted the chrome look it could go back to it easily. Paint is pretty much a one way trip. At least wrapping the window trim makes it easy to remove if needed.
If you're not painting, wrap is the way to go. Keep in mind if you were to paint, the pieces have to be removed from the car, not too difficult for the belt molding but the drip molding's a wee bit complex. Was worth it for me. For me chrome's dated and tacky on a sports but certainly at some point "black pack" trim on every marque around will be too.
Plasti dip matt finish on plinth Plasti dip matt with gloss on plinth
Whilst dip looks good the Plinth was removed not a big job on the plinth however...
As Jeremy said the masking of your car to dip is going to take too long and if you planned on removing the window chrome reveal to dip the side window would also need to come out first . wrapping is definitely your best bet without a doubt
