Default Blower motor inop

My blower motor is not kicking on no matter the fan speed. I got to it and unplugged the power cables to it and tested it. I get 0vdc. I checked the fuse and it's good. Next check im going to do is ground. If i get readings from another ground then it must be the resitor correct? What would be a good ground to use putside of the cable ground? When looking at the schematics I see that power runs straight from the relay to the blower. If I get ground then I should assume the relay is bad?

Thank you

You could take the relay from something unimportant like the horns or similar and try that in the blower slot.

If you take the resistor module out you can check the thermal fuse with a multimeter if you take the top of the module off.
I did Thais and temporarily put it back without the top on and reconnected it . I then strapped the fuse out to check it definitely was the fuse. The fan then worked so proved it was the fuse.
I did order a thermal fuse of similar spec. I then made a basic error and tried to solder the one in after removing the old one. I blew the new fuse with the heat from the soldering iron. I should have just crimped the new fuse to the existing tails.

I fixed by replacing the resistor module that I ordered from Ebay.
Its the same as the Range Rover one. A fraction of the price.
There is a very good thread on this if you do a search.
