Default Brake caliper covers

My recently purchased 2015 vert has some tired looking calipers. I've considered painting them but am also considering the MGP covers with the Jaguar name. Has anybody tried these? They claim that they reduce brake dust but I would think they'd also retain heat.

I bought a set and liked the way they looked but returned them because I couldn’t get them to fit tight enough.

Oddly enough, I don't have clear pics of them on my car. I bought them from S-Typer awhile back. A lot of guys on the forum don't care for them, either the look, as most have fake bolts, or they find them hard to stay in place as @arenaej noted above.

Mine fit great. There is less dust on the wheels and they wipe clean in situ. I don't have to pull the wheel to clean the caliper and that's really the only reason to have them right? I can't speak to heat though I don't see how these could retain heat. That sounds made up to me. Anyway, the pic is his car, not mine since I don't have a good pic of my own. I'm happy with them. My money, my car.....

On my car, bad angle though. They sit about 1/2" off the caliper.

Yeah I bought a whip antenna for the spring. Tired of messing with it.

Paint your calipers or get them powder coated, our cars have nice calipers and the covers IMO cheapen the look of the car.

I have some MGP caliber covers and they look pretty good. They had to custom make them at the time for my XKR cause they come with really big brakes! That's how you know this car is made better than any Dodge,Camaro, and mustang
