Default Bricks in the grill

Another observation as I have the car parked on the lift. Looking in the upper grill near the center there are two black boxes about the size of a brick. I think I can see wires behind them so I was wondering if this is the air bag sensors. Just a few more questions.

The front impact sensors are small, so it's not them. Perhaps it's the air intakes? They're pretty chunky.

I'll see if I can get a picture . They are covered in black plastic and don't look like an air intake. They are just behind the upper grill and to the right and left of center.

I don't have ACC but this may be the location for the unit. I wonder why they would be there blocking the radiator when you don't have the system.

OK just took a picture so hopefully you can see it. There are two of them , one on each side of the center of the grill.

Those are the engine oil coolers, some versions have 1 some have 2, maybe NA vs. Supercharged. My XKR has 2:

They are mounted on 2 aluminum brackets so I think they may be the supports for the ACC but not sure. Could it be the horns

No it is really bumper reinforcement. I know because I have dropped the bumper.

Mystery solved.
