Broken Reverse Light In Driver's Side?
Hello guys! I'm a new to Jaguar XKR forum.
I have a question about the driver's side reverse light. My friend owns a 2008 XKR. Since the day he bought the car, I noticed the driver's side reverse light is not illuminated. I thought it was broken.
The other day my friend brought the car back to the dealship. The service technician informed us that the light is designed not to illuminate. In other words, only passenger's side reverse light works on every new XKR car.
"The driver's side reverse light is not illuminated because the passenger's side one is ultra brighten." The technician told us.
I personally think it is weird answer. I thought every car on the street has 2 working reverse lights. So, I just want to confirm the technician's respond with other XKR owners. Any comments, guys? Thanks!

RE: Broken Reverse Light In Driver's Side?
[sm=icon_rtfm.gif]Isn't that always the case[sm=icon_rtfm.gif]? I know I can get in trouble at work for suggesting that an owner read the manual, even when I say something like "I think that the operation of the climate control is on page 3-17 of your manual if you want to check out what I'm talking about".
