Hi guys, can you please recommend a BSU that you own/have used etc. Gettin all my SDD setup and assume im ok to have a play running diagnostics, maybe recalibrating??? But not reprogramming modules etc so require a BSU. Mainly like to reset the passenger door module at some point as the dipping mirror dont really work and the mirror does not stay in memory wiv the the drivers mirror/seat/column etc. Did change the mirror motor but didnt work, also want to turn on heated steering wheel function at some point, after fitting me wheel and module, thanks, any advice/guidance appreciated

I have a Harbor Freight Special that works absolutely flawless, cost half of the model they ripped off, and I've used for several years on everything I own with complete confidence.
They ripped off the Schumacher brand. Here's a link:
Harbor Freight BSU for cheap
Speedway Motors Schumacher for $$$

Hi excuse my ignorance, but wiv the native version, you must change clock to 2012 about may time i believe?
and you must NOT connect to the internet ever after install or it will look for upgrades, both correct??
hence the ‘enclosed’ virtual install should? Work better, being inside an ‘sealed’ operating system. BUT peope dont seem to reccomemd this install, glitchy ?? Etc???
thanks again

You can certainly use the VM software. I'm not a fan of it, for my own reasons. I think the best install is new Windows 7 32 bit on a dedicated laptop used for nothing else. You can add "freeze" Program to lock the dates on the laptop or simply change the date before each use. Also just turn off the internet on the laptop because there is no need for it. That's a one time step.
Many are successful with all types of installs. My rationale is that less is more. SDD software versions can be glitchy. Why not eliminate any external issues that could be part of the problem?
