Just got an email from Jaguar, " Build your new Jag", fun to go through the steps of model, color, interior, engine, and all the accessories.
One of the accessories they offered in their options was a built in C-tech. I guess they finally understand the battery draw of their vehicles
Anyway, my F Model built the way I wanted only came to a little under 88k, I guess if I wait 10 years from now I'd be able to get it for 20K.

Wait two years and it'll probably be half price. I got my three year old off-lease CPO for less than 30% MSRP and it was nearly perfect.
I like having the Cteks on my toy cars; my X150 came with one of the jaguar branded ones from the former owner. I added to the Maserati and X100 XKR. My winter car is a diesel VW; I have a float charger, battery warming blanket and a coolant circulation pump all connected to an outlet that's in the front fog cover that works great to have a warm, fully charged battery, cranking a warm block and getting heat to the cabin instantly in a little diesel. The drop cord I plug in is on a timer too so i'm not just always burning electricity.
I think on the X150 I need to go underneath in back and see if I can put in an outlet underneath in the wheelwell liner all stealth to make it slicker than open the hatch and plug it in.

Do a search for how ‘jagtoes’ did his, behind the rear bumper cover, very stealth, and dryer than the wheelwell.
I placed my CTEK behind the left grill in the trunk. The the leads are routed to the battery. The power supply is routed to a marine grade male receptacle with a rubber cap to protect it. The receptacle is in the center of the rear valance just out sight when viewed from the rear. It's been this way for a couple of years. I detailed the project here a few years ago. When garaged, it's plugged in full time.
