I will use the donor for parts...hopefully a wreck to.fix somewhere down the road, once I get the new to me XKR going. Currently putting a rear diff in my XFR...have to get that done to free up the work bay...but that's a different thread over in the X250 forum lol

There seems to be a greater market for parts and donor vehicles than there is for "rescued" XKs.
I'm thinking that there are more of us who enjoy the challenge of "the project" than there are willing to purchase the end result.
Market dynamics, near term, may resemble what they say about boats - a hole in the water into which you pour money.
As much as I don't agree with "make it a parts car", the idea that we may be able to sell the completed project to recover our costs just may not work.
But, no joke, I see another version of my "dream car" on COPART/IAAI that needs my attention!
