OK got the car back today and drove it 80miles back home on all thruway driving. Also had the 2 new front Conti DWS installed on the front. They started from 0 and did a total realignment and at no charge to me. The results were extremely good and they look like they hit the factory marks. Care run super at 70-80 mph and the tires so far are excellent for being smooth and quiet. The car track very good. here are the numbers and the pictures to show the alignment marks.
LF camber -0.5* LF caster 6.7* LF toe 0.12
RF camber -0.8* RF caster 6.3* RF toe 0.12*
Total toe 0.23* Steer Ahead 0.00*

Oh as for the rears both rear wheels camber were at -1.4* and the toe was LR 0.14* and RR 0.13* with total toe at 0.27* and thrust angle at 0.00*
I guess it pays to let them know what you are looking for and to top it off the washed and detailed the car at no cost to me.

I see that they took the right front eccentric all the 180* from
the pre-alignment position ... like I thought they would.

The left was just a small tweak.

Once you have driven more than one thousand miles, kindly report back on steering feel and input, ride quality and any noticeable tyre wear.

When I talked to the service manager and the alignment tech before the re-alignment we discussed the factory paint marks and to start back there to see if the front end had any wear that would prevent it from putting it back to factory. They also did some caster work and that made a little difference. We'll see how it works out.

No problem and will do. I'll have to see what things look like sometime around August. As I mentioned my 80 mile ride back home today the car tracked great with no wander . Steering was very good buy considering they gave me a XJ AWD loaner the difference was noticeable. Also I had to laugh as the XJ had the 3.0L SC engine and it was peppy but when I got back in my XKR it was a night and day experience.
