When it is in the lock position, I can open it with the FOB in my pocket but the handle stays in the lock position.

If this system works like others the inside handle should move when the button on the outside handle or the fob is pressed. There is a linkage rod that activates the latch. I believe there is also a sensor on the solenoid that tells the system that the door is locked or unlocked. Something in that area in that door is not functioning . I would pull the door card and watch it function.

It sure won't hurt but I'm with jagtoes, It think it's mechanical. If the fob puts enough signal out for the system to respond (lock or unlock), the fob has done it's job.

I'm afraid it's time to let the dealership figure it out.

I have this issue on my passenger door,
I have to close the door with twice the force as the drivers door
or the window will not tuck away under the body, and hence
it will not lock properly.

The car beeps twice letting me know it did not lock.

Any suggestions on fixing this?

I feel like it may be an alignment issue on the switch in the door.

DO the window reset procedure 1st and see if that corrects the problem.
