Default Grupo Iberica, Britanica automobiles Valencia

Then I contacted the service manager at the other garage I knew, same house, and asked me to called them back to get an appointment. And now I am waiting their call back to let me know.

I let the car for 2 days maybe...
So it was well diagnosed by email by Strastone. It's probably a control arm, one was lightly off. My hats off to them for guiding me.

For the acceleration issue, they will clean the Throttle body and do a ECU
reflash. It was also an advice sent by email from UK from Strastone again.

"There is a cleaning additive which can be put through
the fuel. This additive could clean the injectors.
I would recommend this additive first.
There is also a ECU reflash that can be carried out."

Yes this guy at Strastone saved my ....; also the other service manager at Grupo Iberica, (which left the garage to another one 1 year ago) has always been helpful and he is the one now taking care of me now back again.
my mistake to trust a new head. Until the end, the other service manager was arguing with me saying I was wrong about the control arms and he showed me a xk8 from 1997 to compare the camber, at least on that one like i said it is equal on both side... he argued saying he has changed the battery, and the air sensor who never resolved my acceleration issue, he said it like if it was all and enough for me. I do not agree, there was a constructor warranty at that time and now you fell like asking a favor. I started complaining in December of this problem indeed, was frustrated and shut my mouth due to the wrong tire diagnostic they gave me.

I did 8000 km and the car has 22000 , I believe a warranty is there to help you out, if there is 5 issues you would need to fix all 5. I believe you can be of any country and if the warranty function where you are at, they should be able to help you out. But as far as now I do not have this real clear on my head.

Also to give you an idea of my goodness, I know they do not make profit out of diagnostic etc..I decided to change the tires to help the dealership making profit, see what I got in exchange. It 's sad sometimes this world push you to be very rude, if you are nice, it seems like you do not get any return on the long term. I have degenerative discs and multiple sclerosis, why I do not drive much anymore. It was better not to ask me twice to come for nothing, by respect. Or to let me know by phone.

The rear tire image I posted one day appear worst than what it was and the rear were twice more worn than front, I could at least drive 10 000 km (someone else one will say 15 k) with the front one I left there and it was a part of some saving this year purchasing a car expensive compare to my earnings. Keeping the tire as long as I could even if I am an early bird to change them anyway.

Sorry I did not understood nothing, they well changes one bushing and the wheel came back perfectly where it should be. I could not get the car yet cause they want to send an image to Jaguar Espana. They said they will change the front tires, ( they have 300 km) and I said no it is not worth it, it is ok, I assume it and if there is some traces, it will compensate in the next fem kilometers.

So all is well and the sun is shining, I have a little rover, I am going to the beach and wait until 6 pm to get the cat back.

Did they also clean the throttle body and re-flash the ECU?

For those interested it was not the control arm bushing but a bushing from a bar crossing the car underneath....from what I understood.
I looked at the front of my car and for 22 000 km (Re clear bra I did not installed etc) I do not see any issue with the paint yet. But I kept distances like if a president was onboard...lol
I will enjoy my car at his fullest when Lothar52's xkrs will be fixed.

yes, I guess it is exactly what's all about, we speak, you read. I could not get one Brutal, i mean I did not asked, even if i thought about it, I had them printed many times in france ( but it was at the time i had xj floating...,today the car is concise, firm, even if i feel better turning with my xj 1995 from Fresno haron...it was pimped and i had no idea what they ever did to it, why i am also interesting by spacers) i don't even feel like asking as i believe, he did his best. Thanks for the remainder. All the best to you, have you seen Lothar52' s problem?

I believed i had an infinite grip out of that 95 xj cat, from fresno and i also believe one day they mis diagnosed a wheel nuts on the 97 from bmcd, totally out of...and it has turned me loose a long time.

I will keep everybody UTD on my XKR-S. I am not going to hold my breath...when every tech says... "huh...we have never heard of this problem before"...i doubt a noise kit is going to solve it. Nonetheless I will let everyone know otherwise and I hope im wrong!!

I added more than 1 liter of distilled water into my 2 months old new battery. I always do this as i know the dealership during services never seems to be concerned of this, I will not expect adding more than a liter into a 2 months new one, but this is how it is.
