What brand are they? Are you satisfied that they are OEM or equivalent?

Bill
They came in a Lemforder bag and I am satusfied that they have been made by Lemforder, OEM.

Default Back on topic and update time

If anyone hasn't died of boredom yet, this will surely nudge you along because what's more exciting than suspension? Paint drying I suppose.

Wheel - Right rear wheel was in fact slightly - "ever so slightly" out of round. I should get it back today or tomorrow.

I replaced the brand new Mevotech rear upper A-Arms with some brand new generic ones off fleabay as I said I feel like something is binding. The generics feel more forgiving when I lift them by hand and before attaching to the hub. We shall see once I get the wheel back if there is any actual on the road improvement.

I also manually tested the ADCM and dampers. Dampers measuring between 5 and 6 ohms @ the damper and a little higher @ the ADCM. They are not leaking and there is no sag in the springs. Voltage to the accelerometers is correct @ 5 Volts. Return is 1.68 ish volts.
These are also the readings live while driving so I am moving on from the ADCM, unless someone tells me I missed something.

If you're still awake at this point, congrats.

Default A vast Improvement

Went for a quick drive after mounting the tire. Same drive and everything was vastly improved. Not perfect but much much better. Now I'm convinced it's the upper A Arms. Sadly, I'm returning the as they don't have a notch for the ride height sensor so it sits loose on the arm. I will buy Lemforders. Hopefully Rock Auto will accept the return.

Have you checked the speed signal from the instrument cluster is reaching the CATS module using live data?
Did you check the bushings are rose type and not Polybushes?

@Neville Hobbs thank you. please see post 38
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...2/#post2465377

This is the only data produced during a live run. I printed this on using the Autel wireless dongle but the SDD software displayed the same information on the laptop so I'm not sure how to confirm the speed from the instrument cluster is reaching the CATS module but as I stated, there are no codes thrown and if there were a disconnect, I should see code U015587 - Lost communication with instrument cluster, no?
If you could show me a snapshot of where I might view this in SDD I would appreciate it, although as stated above, I believe the issue is physical and not module related. There were absolutely no issues with ride firmness prior to swapping the control arms.

The bushings are not poly.

I do not have SSD but a pal has. He sat in the car whilst being logged into the suspension module and read out the live speeds which went something like this:
0
97
3
120
5
The figures were erratic indicating a problem which turned out to be the speed carrying wire earthing out along its route from cluster to CATS module.
No codes at all.
Perhaps you trapped a wire!?!?!?!??
Just something for you to investigate.
hope it helps.

It was as I said, the upper arms in the rear. Replaced them - all is well
