Central front and rear jacking points?

Why central? If I'm working on the car and need to take a wheel off I just jack up using the standard ones at front and rear of either side. You'll only need one wheel off the ground at a time to install spacers.
Standard jacking points are marked with little arrows/triangles in the side sills.

For the 5 minutes per corner it's going to take you, it's really not that big a deal to do it properly, is it?
