Do you get charged for a courtesy car, when you take your Jaguar in for service or repair . ???

No, I'd try and find a different dealer or brand.

I've taken my Jag to my local Mercedes dealership (they can pretty much do anything for a Jag except major electrical work). Courtesy car has always been free of charge.

In a word no, unless I opt for and XJ or some other vehicle more expensive than an XF or RR Evoque unless they are out of them.

No as they usually move me to the sale rep who provides me with a new Jag that I would like to have for a few hours. They continue to entice me into replacing my Lexus. Maybe they will , time will tell.

No, but they provided an Enterprise rental car when all of their service loaner cars were out with other customers. Got a brand new Chrysler 300; impressive electronics and nice interior but claustrophobic high window sills. Not bad but not in Jaguar's class IMHO.At least they didn't put me in a Camry.

I took my car to the ONLY Jaguar / volvo dealer in central BC Canada to see about my problem with the cold air on my passenger side vents blowing warm air . the service attendent spoke with a Tech who sujested that it could be down on freon or could be the pasenger side condensor was blocked .? now that has me worried . Ive never heard of the condensor being split for each side. ?
While I was there I noticed a sign that Courtesy cars would be charged out at $19.95 per day . I have never seen this before .

Hi,
It must be Kelowna Autosport you spoke to.
Speak to Aaron, the service manager,he is vey helpful and tell him you are a friend of Mike,s.
I bought a 2012 xkr off them last year and have needed a loner a couple of times which they supplied free of charge.
I believe some dealers charge for a loner if you did not purchase the car from them but i do not think Autosport does as i have taken my wife Range Rover in service and they have always given us a loner.
I notice you are from Grinrod, my business partner is from Salmon Arm and we have a couple of properties in the Shuswap, lovely part of BC

No service car from my indy, but I can walk to their shop from my house. The few times the dealership worked on my Jag's, I always got a service car. One time it was a new XF and I did not buy my car there, nor was it a warranty repair; thank you Woburn Jaguar.

There's hardly anything "free" about that courtesy car, it's included in the highly inflated price you're paying for flag hours to work on your car. Either the give you a nice rental or simply a dealer car in hopes of selling you a new one but make no mistake they're not doing it as a benevolent gesture on their part. Remember inflated prices AND flag hours you're paying dearly at a dealership unless it's under warranty

Got an Enterprise Rent-a-Car for no charge when mine was in for warranty work. Enterprise had a representative and some cars at the dealership (Hennessy Jaguar). Always get a loaner at the Mercedes and Lexus dealers (even when my 1995 SC300 is in for service). Jaguar has to compete with those brands. Even some GM and Ford dealers are giving loaner cars.
