Afternoon all. I've done a search and come up with not much on this so hoping someone has some insight.

2012 XK with ~40k miles.

Recently got a CEL with P0660 which is Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Control

Also got at the same time P0020, P0010, P0013, P0023 which are all 4 bank A and B Camshaft Position Actuator Circuits

Car was coming close to due for service and the simple most common fixes for these codes is an oil change.

Ordered some oil and was shipped Ford Spec Mobil1 0-20W instead of 5-20W. Annoyed but 0-20W is certified for the car so went ahead and changed it.

P0660 cleared but the other 4 did not, they are in Permanent status, not active, so still have a CEL. OK, figured these were the types of codes where the car needs to be driven X miles and X warm up cycles for the computer to self clear.

Drove the car just short of 500 miles which should be plenty and a dozen or so warm up cycles.

Where I live I need a yearly inspection, MOT, to renew registration and an active CEL is an automatic fail.

Today went out and picked up some Castrol 5-20w and did another oil change.

First start after oil change immediately got P0660 again, cleared it, cycled car and it's gone.

I have no active codes but CEL is still lit and the other 4 are still in Permanent status.

What's going on here?

I find it very difficult to believe all for Cam Position Actuator Circuits went at the same exact time in conjunction with P0660.

Car runs and drives fine and here is the really odd bit, my OBD reader reports MIL, malfunction indicator lamp (CEL) is Off but it's clearly on.

Frustrated.

Any ideas?
