Default Check out my new carbon fiber Dash

I think it looks pretty good for $12 investment what do you think?

Took about 2 hours to do everything which includes this part the one over the glove box and the power window switches super easy reversible there's no glue it just peels right off and leave no residue

Nice! Now you need a matching Engine Appearance Cover.

Very nice. I am considering doing the same (my trim is aluminium at the moment, which is nice, but the centre is piano black and I also have carbon mirror covers - I think carbon fascia and window switches would be cool).

Any issues doing the wrap?

I know how the fascia panels remove as they have already been off - do the window control panels just prise off too?

This is all used to remove everything. Pretty easy to do if you get bubbles you can't get rid of them just lift it off that section and refit it... it's a bit tricky cutting around the corners... and the part above the dash is probably the hardest so save that for last until you got the hang of it... that's where the hair dryer comes in handy

Thanks. I have all those bits and pieces. I just had a look at my car. The door switch cover seems to wrap around underneath - is it a prise-off part or is it held on with some sort of screw or fastener? Thanks!

It does not wrap around you'll see a little Gap where you shove the tool in at the very bottom and just pry up and it pops right off and the window switches are super easy to get the connector off of... the piece over the steering wheel you can pull off with your fingers you don't even need the tool hope this helps. Order on Amazon Prime today and have a faux carbon-fiber dash by tomorrow!

Can you notice the carbon-fiber pattern from say ten feet away?

Looks great.
I would prefer it with more depth to the shine, but a big improvement from standard

I did mine this week. You can see the weave from 10 feet away with the gloss carbon 5D that I used. Fairly easy to do - first time I have ever wrapped anything. Not sure if I prefer the look to the standard aluminum trim my car came with - will leave it a while till I get used to it. Definitely makes the car look 'sportier'. If I had black leather I would have zero doubts - it would look tremendous. With my ivory leather, not so sure. The good thing is, it is totally reversible if I decide to go back to the aluminum look.
