Default Chip Foose E-type interpretation

I came across this today and don't think it's blasphemous as by 1974, the original E-type had lost its sensual shape. It looks like a C1 Corvette.

Chip Foose’s custom Jaguar E-type stuns onlookers at SEMA

Shame on Chip Foose for ruining the beautiful E-Type design with an awful rear end design, copied straight from the C1 Corvette. It's like taking away the familial resemblance of a child to its parent. The design language from the D-Type is gone, replaced by a Foosed-up monstrosity that looks like the ba****d love child that it is.

It's exactly the same as my old '60 Vette, except for the exhaust.

Chip Foose is a Graphic Artist (draws cars for a living) and pays other people to make "his" cars for him.
I have no respect for Chip Foose at all.

I found ugly bling-blig rims off-putting. They look like a take-offs from an Escalade.

wasn't impressed - would rather go with the Eagle E-Type over this

Alternatively, let Jaguar Classics convert your XKR to full electric. If they can do an E-Type they can do anything... for a price fit for a Prince!
