I have a 2008 XK, and it was hit in the rear (3 times so far, not sure why people can't see my car to stop in time, but that's another story). The chrome sleeve over the right side exhaust tip fell off and is lost. I can't seem to get one anywhere short of replacing the entire exhaust system. Does anyone know where I might find one? Off of a junk exhaust would be fine, or anything else someone might suggest. Aftermarket doesn't seem to be a solution, since the inner pipe is flared from 2 1/2" up to 3 1/2" or so, so nothing fits over the flare.
A breaker's yard would be my suggestion. Or maybe try the sponsors of this forum.
Pacific Motors is a place I've heard of, I think they're in Idaho or something.

by the way, these cars are really tough, i’ve been hit pretty hard in the rear twice, each time I am sure the car that hit me was totalled, and while my Jag sustained damage, it was repairable both times. I was hit a third time, with only slight damage that you really have to know about to see.
The first time was due to me slowing down on the interstate so I didn’t hit a retread that took up my entire lane. The other times I am not sure why I keep getting hit other than possibly people driving while not paying attention.
Try to get some fresh brighter bulbs. Otherwise, I would look into upgrading to an XKR rear box. I prefer the quad exhaust over the XK box. When I first got the car, a motorcycle slid into the rear, while it was parked. So I installed an XKR box, and diffuser. Then I sold the car, years later I got the car back and love the quad exhaust even more now.

I was stationary giving way to traffic at a motorway exit in my XJ40 when it was hit in the rear. Getting out to inspect the damage, the lady who had driven into my car was distraught. She tearfully explained she'd been reading my registration plate (personalised numbers weren't so common in England thirty years ago) and failed to notice the traffic had stopped. The rear bumper of the XJ40 had broken away from the right side mounting bracket but there was no other damage. The front of her Toyota was destroyed!
The rear of Jaguars appear to withstand impacts with light damage since the introduction of plastic bumpers but the front ends usually look dreadful as they are designed to progressively deform to protect the occupants. There's been several posts on the forums showing mangled XK's and F-Types involved in front end collisions.
Could try car-part.com, I didn’t see exhaust tips with the other exhaust parts (under ‘Air & Fuel’ for some reason), so you may need to fill in their online request form, and add details of what you’re looking for.

Not knowing what you did when you swapped yours, will swapping it with the XK box on a stock system going to add a little growl without the drone?
the rear box is different from the regual XK box. Two of the outlets on the XKR box are running almost direct and are not being baffled by the muffler, so yea you will noticed a difference in grunt noise. I went the extra mile and removed the middle silencer to boost the noise a little more
