Column adjust issue

I've searched but there is precious little out there.
I recently removed my dash to re-stretch the leather. Everything is great, except the steering column adjustment. The joystick can telescope it in and out (by maybe an inch) but I get no movement up or down. I've tried the memory positions to check for movement, nothing. I've scoured the underside of the dash for something left unplugged, the only things over there that got disconnected are the cabin sensor and the gauge cluster, both of which work fine.
Can I manually energize the motors somehow? Right now the column is all the way down and driving is impossible.

See Post #8 in this old thread from the X100 Forum. I realize that it's the previous XK model, but it might be the answer to your problem. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...fix-faq-53768/

I got it working.
All I needed to do was use some pirated dealer software running on a virtual machine with a knock-off OBD2 dongle to run the steering wheel calibration test. Due to the speed of the software it only took a couple hours.
Ridiculous honestly.
Now I get to figure out whats up with my drivers seat heater / airbag! SDD says it's losing connection to the driver seat module.
