Tire noise is very dependent on the surface structure of the road. I think it would be hard to evaluate or compare one tire to another without a noice level measuring device. In our minds we might think the noise levels decrease from one brand to another, but without a scientific analysis our minds just might cause the new tire to be less noisy when it actually is not.

Continental was taking care of the customers with discounts when that occurred, but since I drive 20-25k miles a year I didn't want to have to buy new tires every 12 months, or less.

So the DWS wasn't a good application for me.
