Convertible top reset issues!

Convertible top reset issues!
So my top is stuck in limbo, mostly closed but the front isn't latched. I'm following the instructions to reset the cover but I can't get the "tonneau cover" or rear deck open. It's clearly latched. I cannot for the life of me find a way to manually unlatch it and there's nothing about having to unlatch it in the manual.
Could someone tell me how to get this unlatched so I can reset the convertible top?

Update:
Found the pull tab to unlatch it. Things were really looking up. I couldn't get it to re-latch but the manual made it seem like I was all set. re-engaged the pump with the Allen key and started putting the top back then... Stuck here
The "tonneau cover" or rear deck is stuck in this position. I'm lost.

Does disconnecting the battery cause it to drop? I recall when I was going through my convertible top journey, that the tonneau cover stayed up sometimes when I expected it to drop... and disconnecting the battery caused it to fall. Probably some other ways to do it, like taking a fuse out, but thought I'd share.
From the thread that @Stuart S recommended, I recalled @WhiteXKR 's advice to me:
"Now that the top is down the roof is in the reset position. I suggest opening the pump valve (CCW) for 30 minutes for the pressure to drop then pushing the tonneau down as far as possible over the folded top.
Then close the pump valve (CW). Now start the engine and see if the top closes normally."

Now that I think about it, it looks like the first stage of the "close roof" process started, which is to open the tonneau cover (technically I think that's the second step as windows down is the first).
So rather than the top getting stuck, is it the case that the process is not getting past the step of raising the cover. The next step would be for the roof to start moving....
Other questions: did you do the window reset after pulling the battery to do the roof reset? Luggage separator and boot latch ok?

VICTORY!!!
I called a jaguar specialist and he gave me some pointers. He said there may be an air bubble in the hydraulic system.
Heres what I did.
-Open up hydraulic system with allen key. I did abut 1.25 turn(s) to open instead of just one.
-Manually open and close the top twice to get the fluid moving.
-Wait 30 minutes
-Manually open and close the top twice again.
-Close hydronic systems with pump
-Turn car on
-Put drivers side window all the way down
-Hold the driver side window down again for 5-10 seconds (I did ten)
-Put window all the way up
-Hold Up for 5-10 seconds.
-Ensure full window travel with one touch of the window button
-Repeat for passanger side
-Open top from stowed position with button.
ALL SET!
Thanks for everyone's suggestions! I'm thrilled!
