Default Convertible Top Won't Close Fully. Stops Halfway. Code B1135-31

I was moving my 07 XKR and tried to close the top. The top got halfway up to the point where the tonneau cover goes down, and then it just freezes, and I get Hood Not Latched on the dash.

I tried manual top reset
I tried pulling fuse 8 for 10 seconds, putting it back in, holding the top switch for 60 seconds, nothing. It will go down all the way and latch the tonneau, but it will not go up. Still just stops halfway after the tonneau cover closes, with the roof hanging in the air.
I charged battery fully with a 15A charger (it is always kept on a tender anyway)
I scanned with my Autel system and get code B1135-31 convertible top lid compartment switch.

I have looked and looked and found nothing for this code anywhere, or a switch

Has anyone else experienced this? Am I the only one?

Check the hinges on all the support pieces. Sometimes the "U" hooks misalign with the posts they are SUPPOSED to interlock. Check all the hinges, note the one(s) that are different/funky-looking.
There is a thread somewhere on here if you find something amiss.

Update, I let the battery sit for a few hours, unplugged. Did full manual top reset. Turned the car on (I was stuck outside with snow starting to fall and had to get it inside, go figure), made sure to reset the windows and confirmed that they were reset. Tried to close the top, stuck halfway again, held the button, I hear some whirring or whatever, and eventually the same bing and and Hood Not Latched.

Then I pressed the top close again and to my surprise it kicked in and closed all the way.

I pulled it in and I'm not touching it again until May.

Default My 2013 X150 roof will not close

Hi All. How to close my roof?
I had my X150 roof open and was driving along then noticed a red warning on the dash saying roof not latched. Without stopping, a quick head turn suggested all was OK. When I arrived home, only 3 miles later, I tried closing the roof electrically in the normal way, but it stopped about a foot short and the tonneau cover was closed. Button pressing would not move it open or close. Referring to the handbook was useless because after several steps it says ''Fully open the tonneau cover" BUT no help in how to do that as the back of the roof is tight against the closed tonneau Any advice would be very welcome.

You probably missed it in the manual. You need to release the pump pressure and once you can lift the back of the top, you need to release the tonneau cover. I’m looking around page 119 of the 2010 owners manual linked in the stickies at the top of this forum:

Thanks for your reply. I did all that, including releasing the pressure with the allen key as I said the manual says after doing all in your diagram, lift the tonneau cover. BUT its firmly held down by the back of the roof resting on it which doesn't move when I try by hand.

Pull back on the front of the top until it is about vertical. Then lift the REAR of the top vertical to clear the Tonneau. At that point, pull the release cable to unhook the tonneau and raise THAT to vertical. NOW you can push the entire top into the hole and then close the tonneau.

Many thanks. Now all OK. The manual is not clear in re-setting the roof. Having released the hydraulics with the allen key I had to physically lift and push back the front of the roof which manually started to lift the rear of the roof which I could then lift to expose the tonneau and with my third hand I could lift the tonneau vertically whilst pushing the roof all the way back and into the tonneau area and close to tonneau cover. With fingers crossed I switched on the car, pressed the roof close button . . . . . and it closed completely has has opened and closed several times since!!
