Voila: needed part for a few bucks and enough hose sections left for other repairs. Years later, no issues.

Good day,
I've found a company here is South Africa that manufacture silicone hoses with different diameters on either side.
I believe the hose in question have 2 different diameters on either side.
Does anyone know what the inner diameter of the hose's 2 sides are?
Thank you

If you bought it from the auto parts store,it BETTER work!Cause that's what they selling it for.I had to do my 2007 the same way back when i had it.That's a very easy fix replacing that little hose.I think it's a part number for that hose tho so u don't have to replace the whole thing. Some jaguar dealerships love lying to customers for more money and it's going to be hell to pay when i find out how to combat the cap their doing to customers that can get them in very serious trouble for lying showing that their parents didn't bother to raise them correctly

Which additive are you referring to? To stop leaks?

hmmm. And I have yet to have a leak. I do change the fluid a little more frequently than the proposed schedule (fluid is cheaper than an engine). And given her age, the hoses were replaced at 100,000 kms. (along with most other rarely touched parts)
But one thing is for certain, I’m not going to pollute the system with an additive in my car.
